White Pearl Bungalow

This is a small family-run complex with (I believe) three bungalows surrounding a pretty garden with hammocks and a swimming pool. The two-bedroom bungalow we stayed in was nice and spacious. The beds were clean, comfortable and stylish (check the pictures!), and with mosquito nets. We particularly liked the fact that you stay in the village, rather than in the line of tourist resorts along the beach. Kitchen had a large fridge, and some basic utensils. The huge terrace with the (partial, as it is obscured by trees) ocean view is fantastic. The staff was very polite and friendly. Internet was reliable and quite fast. There was place to park. A very secure and quiet place. The beach was 10 minutes of walking away. Could improve: The kitchen could have been cleaner and better equipped - there was a pot or two, but nothing to cook on. Breakfast could be more diverse - the plate of fresh fruits was great, but otherwise it was chapati and toast bread with boiled eggs every morning (twice there were a couple of spicy sausages added). It was a bit hard to find the place. There are absolutely no signs and indicators. The short, but very steep bumpy access road leads to a metal gate, which is also not marked in any way, so we were unsure if we are at the proper place or not.

Lovely stay

The typical house offers an authentic atmosphere, a view of palm trees in the garden and in the yard, gives you the feeling of being in the middle of nature and at the same time removed from the tourist bustle. The pool is well maintained and large enough for refreshment and a morning or evening swim. It is also adapted for children, who also have enough garden toys on the property. Staying at the accommodation and relaxing on the comfortable shaded sunbeds is so inviting that you will hardly want to go to the beach. An excellent breakfast will be served on your terrace. Of course, you can't make a comparison with the resort and look for little things that could be improved, because accordingly the price is also much more favorable. On the other hand, you will have the privilege of enjoying a unique little paradise. I really liked everything. But I must not forget to mention the exceptional kindness of the owner of the accommodation, who will try to help you and meet your wishes. Also his team, which greets and serves you kindly. A coconut awaits you as a welcome. Could improve: -

Authenticity of the place, kindness of the personal and the geographical situation, near the beach and some very good places to eat at. Thank you for everything !

Warm welcome by staff (especially Moana who does a great job at caring for guests and putting them at ease, bridging the language barrier with smiles and acts of kindness). The pool area is nice and well equipped. Breakfast was more diverse and filling than in most other places on the island. Location at walking distance from the beach, close enough to the main road for accessibility but far enough for tranquility and silence. Could improve: Upon arrival I was assigned a different (more modest) room than the one I had booked (with some insistence, I got a small discount at checkout to compensate for this hiccup). The bathroom sink of the treehouse room needs to be revised as it spills on the floor and the WC is difficult to use while standing due to the roof (it's a small attic). Lack of proper common areas except for the (very nice!) pool area. Pool showers out of order when I visited. Weak wifi signal and none in the room. Lack of a generator as a backup for the frequent power cuts (if the fan suddenly stops, the room can get pretty hot). The place has recently changed administrator and many improvements are underway to further improve an already nice stay!
