It is an oasis in a busy town. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us a bottle of champagne and baked us a cake to celebrate our honeymoon. The chicken was memorably good, and the rooms themselves as well as the outdoor pool are both nice. Could improve: The drive in is _really_ rough – like rougher than any of the roads we drove on in the Serengeti. The Wifi and TV are also pretty spotty, but that happens throughout Africa, so we were mildly bummed that we couldn't watch the world cup match going on, but not a big deal.

Die Villa Arumeru ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, eine Oase im trubeligen Arusha. Ein schöner Pool, sehr leckeres und frisches Frühstück, gutes Abendessen, schöne und saubere Zimmer und vor allem außergewöhnlich freundliche und warmherzige Menschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und fühlten uns verwöhnt. Sogar unsere Schuhe wurden- ohne dass wir gefragt haben - geputzt und standen wundersamerweise plötzlich sauber vor der Zimmertür. Selten so einen tollen Service erlebt. Danke, liebes Team von Villa Arumeru!

Peaceful and quiet little hotel located in a resudential area in Arusha. You can easily walk outside, safe area. Distance to town approx 20 - 25 min by car. Druver can be organized at the hotel. Very friendly and caring staff, helpful and supportive with all kinds of issues. Delicious breakfast and optional dinner if needed. Clean and beautiful decorated rooms. Definitely will come back if in Arusha again Could improve: Road ro rhe hotel in bad condition. Not at all a showstopper, but to be considered.
