What a gem. This boutique hotel is set in a beautiful old house, full of character, with decor and atmosphere that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a different era of Zanzibar. Our room was spotless and smelled of lemongrass — such a nice touch. Towels fluffy and super clean. Breakfast was à la carte, which was a lovely change from the usual — felt more personal and fresh each morning. One evening there was live music, which added a really special touch to the atmosphere. A wonderful stay overall — highly recommend for anyone wanting charm, comfort, and a genuine sense of place in Stone Town. Could improve: The bed was a bit hard but I like sleeping in softer beds.

Le cadre en général. La cours intérieure avec son restaurant avec une cusine soignée et le petit-déjeuner gargantuesque. Le personnel est attentionné.

The staff at this hotel were amazing - very acommodating and they remembered by name each and every time, which is normally something you encounter at the top end hotels, so a massive thumbs-up for the service level.
