⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Pembeni River House was absolutely wonderful. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. Its location is also excellent, making it a great base for exploring Arusha or starting a safari. I highly recommend Pembeni River House to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet, and memorable stay in Arusha. We will definitely come back!

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett okay. Could improve: Die Angestellten waren sehr unmotiviert und lustlos, wir mussten alles selbst nachfragen und herausfinden und fühlten uns nicht wirklich willkommen, eher als lästig (wir waren die einzigen Gäste dort). Wir haben das Hotel ausgesucht, weil es mit Restaurant angegeben war. Es gab keine Speisekarte, da dachten wir uns noch nichts. Das Essen war auch gut, aber die böse Überraschung kam mit der Rechnung: 20$ pro Person (!). Wir fragten außerdem nach einem Wascheservice. Die Rechnung bei Abreise dafür: 36$, (100.000 tzs!!) was absolut unverschämt war. Uns wurde noch erklärt, dass bspw. Je Socke 2$ berechnet wird. Wir fühlen uns absolut abgezockt und können es daher nicht empfehlen!

Nice owner and staff. Very nice safe tidy property. Good WiFi. Good value. 45 minute walk or 5000TZ/10 minutes on a motorcycle taxi to the clocktower roundabout. There is a nice little local convenience store called Divine at the intersection of the main road Could improve: The option to have an electric fan in the room would be nice, and ok to charge a bit extra for it 🙂
