Mfumbwi Twins Villa

Superbe villa. Personnel (gardien, cuisinier…) excellent. Could improve: Pas de possibilité de cuisiner (pas de casserole ni de gaz).

The location is good. Could improve: Our stay at Mfumbwi Twins Villas was extremely disappointing and stressful from start to finish. We had paid an additional $100+ for early check-in and late check-out, which was supposed to include a bottle of wine. Despite confirming our early check-in request on booking.com, we were still made to wait almost two hours upon arrival. When I called the manager, he was unhelpful, only suggesting that we use a waiting room in the meantime. The bottle of wine was also never provided. The villa itself had multiple issues. There were excessive flies throughout the house, making it uncomfortable to stay in. There was also a strong smell of gas inside the villa, which raised serious concerns about a possible gas leak from the stove or elsewhere in the property. The fridge was not working on the first day, which caused the food we had brought with us to spoil. Food service was also very poorly managed, orders required at least two hours’ notice, even for breakfast. On one occasion, despite informing them the night before about our 1-year-old son’s breakfast, we were told in the morning that they did not have the ingredients to prepare it. Due to these ongoing issues, we decided to leave early and changed our flight to depart in the morning. However, when we attempted to leave, the security guard refused to let us exit the property unless we paid a $32 city tax. Given the additional amount we had already paid for services that were not delivered, we disputed this. The situation escalated unnecessarily because the property manager refused to come in person throughout our stay so we could explain our frustrations face-to-face. This confrontation delayed our departure significantly and almost caused us to miss our flight. The situation became tense and uncomfortable, and could easily have escalated further. Overall, the experience was disorganised, poorly managed, and far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend this property.

Absolutely amazing place!

The villas have well kept garden and swimming pool. It made it feel like it was by the beach front. Could improve: The beds are not soft n comfortable. The food was good but took too long and orders mixed.

Nasz pobyt w tym miejscu liczył 11 dni i każdy z nich byl cudowny. Obsługa, prywatnosc, udogodnienia, właściciele oraz widoki spełniły nasze oczekiwania. Z pewnością polecamy to miescie dla wszystkich, ktorzy cenią sobie bezpieczeństwo, swobodę oraz ucieczkę od zgiełku.
