If you're going to north to see the great migration, the location is incredible! You see Zebras and Gnus getting close to the camp all the time, and is 1h away from the Mara River crossing spots, which it's close considering the Serengeti's wide range. The room is really comfortable, and with a very good bed. The view is stunning! Could improve: The staff in general was okay, but the manager was not okay. Even though got a reasonable warmth reception in the first day, in the last day, we literally got robbed by the manager. We left early in the morning to go to Central Serengeti and ordered a lunch box with them, and they charged it $70 for two people, when apparently they should have charged us half of the price ($35), according to our tour guide, which already have ordered the same lunch box with them before for other clients. But that's not even the problem, the problem is that the food was not really good to be even charged at $35, but what alternatives you have, right? Unless you're going to your next hotel in the lunch time, you don't really have any alternatives. Also, it's very likely they did that to compensate the lack of tips that we gave for them, because I remember the manager's sarcastic smile when he informed the price. Either way, when you have a full-board package in the hotel in the middle of a savannah, the food it is what it is, but when you have to pay a very expensive price for the crapy food they offered, it sucks as hell! Also, the price of the lodge was overly priced in my opinion, because when you compare it to the other options, with a cheaper price, the difference might be a little bit more comfort in the lodge, but other than that, it will be very similar for a higher price. Honestly, I thought their price difference was due to hot shower managed during the night as well, but unfortunately that's not true, so if you wanna take a shower early in the morning before going to the safari, you got to be prepared to have a cold shower instead.
