Kiwavi Home

I truly loved Kiwavi Home. The staff (and the other guests) were some of the nicest people I have met and very accommodating. I left/entered the home very late at night several times (I was in Moshi for a wedding and the all the events ended late at night), but they stayed up to open the gate for me each time, which I am very grateful for. When I was leaving, I wasn't planned to leave until 8pm, so they let me stay in the room until my car came as no-one had booked the room for that night, which was very kind. Beyond this, the room (single room with bathroom) itself was clean and had towels, a mosquito net, hand soap and spare toilet roll. I stayed for about 5 nights and they came in to clean twice, which was nice. Aside from this, the food was amazing. You had breakfast every day with great coffee and a selection of fruits and different dishes each day to try. If you paid extra and gave advanced warning, you could also have dinner at the home, which consisted of a HUGE spread of different and really tasty local dishes all cooked from scratch that day (I would 100% stay again even just for the food!). The home is a little far from some of the main parts of the city, but this means it's very tranquil. If you need transport, you can call a tuk tuk/car/boda boda (motorbike taxi) using Bolt to go into the centre of town and it's just a 5-minute ride. All in all, I hugely recommend this place, and if I am ever in Moshi again I will come back. Thank you to everyone at Kiwavi Home! Could improve: The only small thing I would suggest is making an information booklet to leave in the room so guests know about laundry, contact details for entering/leaving very early or late and dinner.

Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber, gemütliche Atmosphäre. Der Garten hat mir auch gut gefallen. Das Bett war bequem, ruhig und dunkel in der Nacht. Die Gastgeber Joy und Simba waren immer für mich und die anderen Gäste da. Could improve: Nicht. Es war alles super.

Super freundliche Gastgeber und interessante Unterhaltungen. Man hat Einzelzimmer und Bad, aber der Rest der Anlage ist eher wie eine Familie gedacht. Also Küche, Essensbereich etc. kann zusammen benutzt werden. Internet funktioniert! Could improve: Nichts

Everyone working there is so friendly! Breakfasts were lovely. There is a cat, dog and tortoise which create such a homely feel. Could improve: It was a little loud as the rooms are close to the dining area.
