Kibo Palace Hotel Arusha

I am really at a loss as to why this hotel gets described as luxurious. At best it is a 3 star. The bedrooms are basic and not particularly clean. Our mirror was filthy with what looked like saliva from someone sneezing all over it. Revolting. It is right by the main road with lots of trffic noise and tooting horns most of the day. The breakfast was good with freshly cooked pancakes and omlettes. I wouldn't stay here agin.

We would recommend Kibo Palace Hotel, as well as its staff, to anyone visiting Arusha. While there, we were treated with the utmost respect. All the staff were fantastic and did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. The accommodations were excellent, and they had everything to make our home away from home as nice as possible. The hotel is located in the ideal location to allow for easy access to many of the attractions in the downtown area of Arusha. Overall, we had a great experience at Kibo Palace Hotel and would recommend it to all travellers who are planning a trip to Arusha, Tanzania.

We stayed for one night after arriving at Kilimanjaro airport before going on safari. Really nice set up. Friendly staff, professional & helpful throughout. Glory at reception was really helpful and patient. Jackeline, our waitress around the pool was friendly, efficient & relaxed. Great size bedroom with everything you could need. Some rooms are a little noisy from the road outside. Ours was fine and I wear earplugs anyway!!! We didn't venture out of the hotel as it gave us everything we needed for the one day/night to relax and recharge. Food and drink was reasonably priced too. Thank you to all the staff that looked after us, from the security to the chefs to the groundsman.

Very nice place, cool, big rooms

I had a great stay at Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished, with very comfortable beds. The food was delicious, offering a nice mix of local and international dishes. Staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making the stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, a very comfortable and well-maintained hotel, highly recommended for anyone visiting Arusha.

Stayed here for two nights on Safari. Large spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Unique design, wonderful staff, great pool, and pool bar. Breakfast included a good buffet with many selections. If ever back in Arusha, this is where I will stay!!
