It is a really nice place and the staff if very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and you really feel the privacy. We liked the breakfast very much, which was prepared thoughtfully by Ibrahim (and he included small tasty surprices every morning). The room was cleaned twice a day and always with a smile. The veranda had a wonderful view so the morning coffee always felt special. All in all a very pleasent stay. Could improve: Since Zanzibar in general is experiencing power cuts every day, we had long periods of time with no electricity. Of course this is not the hotels fault (and the other hotels also are affected) they do have a generator they can turn on during prolonged periods. Unfortunately this made for some poor sleep due to heat when the fans get turned off during the night (when the power gets cut).

Breakfast, but a bit slow Could improve: No air con. I realise this was clear from the advert, but nowadays, people expect aircon. Also there was no electrcitiy back up

A small and pretty accommodation with a seasonally open restaurant in connection with a training centre for local youths!? A brilliant idea, in my opinion. (Good luck and success to all the friendly students in the future). This is not the first time I have been to Alibi's Well and, as before, I have found the place to be pleasant and beautiful. Centrally located, yet quiet, you will find everything you need here: a fantastic environment and a staff that couldn't be better and more attentive. So I would like to thank Amina, who takes such care of the rooms, and Mohammed for his tireless work in the house and garden and for all the freshly picked coconuts. My very special thanks go to Ibrahim for absolutely everything that made my stay so special, from the delicious cuisine to the lively and pleasant conversations. I will not forget the wonderful time here and I am sure I will be back!

This is probably one of my best hotel experiences ever. As it is a hotel/restaurant school everything is not perfect but the students do their best to apply their newly acquired knowledge. The staffs took extraordinary effort to take good care of us with a personalised breakfast and teas. Relaxing garden space for lazy days under the coconut trees.

Ibrahim was a very gracoius and helpful host. Great location with easy access to Jambiani Beach and the village of Paje only 10 minute taxi ride away. Breakfast was top notch and Ibrahim adapted to our tastes through the stay. Could improve: Some small maintenance issues like water supply in one of the rooms being inconsistent.
