The staff couldn't do any more for us. So helpful, friendly and joyful. The pool is lovely

The breakfast is good. Fresh fruit, coffee, and breakfast meats. The rosella juice in particular is good. Could improve: All safari lodges in Tanzania are overpriced. In other countries like South Africa, you get way more value for money. If I lived in the U.S. or Europe, I would choose a safari in Botswana, Zambia, or South Africa before choosing to travel to Tanzania.

Africa Selous Safari has a large number of small, open Safari vehicles. You and your party can expect to be given exclusive access of one of them. You can go and return when you want. You can stop when you see something you like and continue onwards when you are ready. The accommodation is very comfortable. The food buffet is very good. The service quality is excellent.

The way that the location is run co-exists perfectly with Julius Nyerere National Park, and on top of that the facilities were perfect, food was tasty and the location is beautiful. The staff were also extremely helpful to the point where I can say they saved us! We had been let down by TAZARA train services so we’re going to be stranded, but the safari manager helped us to arrange a very reasonably priced private charter flight on only a few hours’ notice. We opted to take a game drive, and our guides were extremely experienced and knowledgeable. We were able to see species I’d only ever seen on TV or in movies and even a pride of lions with cubs (very rare to see in the daytime). Highly recommend the whole offering of this establishment.
