Location, staff and how well kept it is Could improve: No car access so had to (short) walk from the main road

Good location. Restaurant staff were lovely. Both breakfast and dinner very nice. Good view from the roof top. Could improve: Our room looked straight into a brick wall so was very dark. Ensure you select a room with a view. I had only just turned the shower on and stepped in and it was evident it was blocked as the water rose up and started to flood the bathroom. It couldn’t be used like that so my husband went and asked for assistance. They came and mopped the floor but that was it. So he asked for a plunger and tried to unblock it himself which didn’t have much impact. For the two days we were there we had to use the low hand held device, instead of the overhead rose, and turn it on & off between soaping up. Not good for a 4 star hotel. Some of the front desk staff were very unfriendly.

Overall feel of the hotel was quite colonial, which was lovely. Rooms were gorgeous and spacious and facilities were good. Breakfast was good and staff were lovely. Could improve: The only downside was the plants in the downstairs lobby area i believe had mosquitos. Two of our party were bitten lots of times just when waiting in reception or by the pool. We loved the plants but they needed spraying!
