Only Ocean view Could improve: One of My Worst Hotel Experiences in Zanzibar I honestly do not know where to begin. In short, the property looked nothing like the photos shown on Booking.com. For a moment, we genuinely thought we had arrived at the wrong hotel. The room was advertised as having a sea view—and it did..but unfortunately, that was the only positive point. The hot water was not working, and they continued trying to repair it until late at night. There was not even a bottle of drinking water in the room, despite having a kettle and tea cups. How are guests supposed to make tea without water? I had to go outside and buy drinking water myself.. the staff said thay they don't put water in the room for the guest ! The bathroom leaked continuously. I informed the staff member on duty, but nothing was done. There was even a brken mop in the floor that appeared to be used for pushing the leaking water towards the drain. The shampoo and shower-gel bottles were extremely dirty and completely empty. There were no hand towels or bath mat. Only 2 bath towls The balcony had no chairs—only a broken table. The bathroom door did not close properly. To use the bathroom with any privacy, we had to place the rubbish bin behind the door to keep it shut. They offered to show me other rooms, but when I checked one of them, the fan was not working and there was no hot water there either. I came here hoping to enjoy a relaxing day off, but unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in Zanzibar. The property needs serious maintenance, better cleanliness, and much more attention to basic guest comfort.

Das Frühstück war zeimlich gut. Das Personal hat sich Mühe gegeben, sie waren sehr nett. Sie haben immer wieder betont, dass die hoch Saison nch nicht angefangen hat, deshalb waren sie nicht vorbereitet. Meine Antwort: Sie sollen dann das Zimmer nicht anbieten, wenn sie noch nicht soweit sind... Could improve: Bei meiner Ankunft war gar nichts vorbereitet. Die Dusche und Wasserhahn im Badezimmer haben nicht richtig funktioniert. Im Laufe meines Aufenthalts haben sie das Problem gelöst.
